Collin and Kevin Kearney are now tied for 10th place in the 7-9 65cc class. For there first year out in the 65 class they are working well as a team. Check out some of the video's on eceakids.org....

Our season kicked off over the weekend at the Tri County National Harescramble. Collin #110 rode his heart out and it paid off with a 9th place win in the 7-9 65cc class out of 17 kids. Unfortunalty his team mate and twin Brother Kevin #173 could not race that day. He had an accident with a trampoline the day before the event and stretched a ligament in his knee. He is feeling much better now and can't wait to join his twin brother on the line at the RRMC Harescramble on Mothers Day.

Collin and Kevin rode there first Junior Enduro ever and did great. Collin took 8th place in the 7-9 65cc class and Kevin took 10th place in the 7-9 65cc class. This was the first ever Junior Enduro that was hosted by the ECEA and KTM North America. Round 2 of the new series is scheduled for October and we can't wait!! What a good time we had!!

Our first race of our Harescramble series is next weekend. Its also a National event. We have been training very hard for our upcoming season and based on our results at the junior enduro last weekend, it is going to be a great year!!

Thank You to all of our sponsors for there continued support!!

The ECEA stands for the East Coast Enduro Association.  The ECEA is a non profit organazation made up of 19 offroad motorcyle clubs who are dedicated to our sport and the future of our sport. Thus that is how the youth series was born. They host Harescrambles, Enduros, and Duel Sports.  Why do they do it... for the LOVE of the sport. They do such a good job at it, that some of our clubs get the Honor of hosting AMA National Harescrambles, AMA National Enduros and AMA National Duel Sports EVERY Year.  Last year one of our clubs got the high honor to host the only round of the World Enduro in the United States which they did such a good job that they were honored and asked again for 2007 to host the event again. Thanks to a man, Brian Hartem and his family, our youth series was born. Through hard work and dedication, he has grown our series to one of the highest attended Harescramble series on the East Coast. Therefore the competition is extremely tuff which makes the racing all the better. Our youth come out of the youth series into the adult series and some of them go straight to the A class. For more information please visit www.eceakids.org or www.ecea.org . Thanks to all the people for all there hard work and dedication in making our series one of the Best on the East Coast.

Our season is over and we are very happy to say that Kevin has taken a 3rd place spot on the podium for year end and Collin has taken a 6th place spot for year end.  Over the break they will be training on there 65's and doing some Friday night supercross to get into the groove for next year as they both will be racing as a team in the 7-965cc class. Our 07 season kicks off in May. Our banquet is scheduled for Febuary and we are looking forward to hanging with our freinds bench racing about all the good times we had this season.

I can honestly say this was the toughest race of the year for these two boys.. RRMC harescramble Round 11. With only one more race until the end of our season it is going to be a knuckle biter for sure. The RRMC HS was tough. It downpoared the whole day. Wet, Cold, Mud, Mud, and more Mud. It challanged everybody including the parents. I think I heard one parent say total carnage. LOL.

Kevin did great. He started off with a bent shifter and last off the line. But worked himeself up to pull a 2nd place win. He even earned himself a new nickname. From now on his name is MUD MAN.. He seems to favor these conditions. The sloppier the better!! Its now down to the wire for Kevin. With only one more race of the season this weeknd, he has to hold it ground to take his 3rd place position on the podium. He knows what he has to do..and is looking forward to bench racing with his buddies when its over.

Collin did great as well although he had some difficulty. He took home a 17th place win but it was the experience that counts. We pulled Collin out of the 50cc line early. There were still 5 more races to go. He was willing to give up his points for the remainder of the year because he wanted to have more experience racing his 65. Its hard to believe that this kid only learned the clutch in April. He will be taking 6th place for year end awards in the 50cc stock class.

This race was not about who the fastest rider was. It was all about skill. Survival as I like to say. I was just happy that both of these boyz finished the race and were all smiles at the end.

Race results and pictures can be found on www.eceakids.org

A good time had by all at yesterday's Round 10 CDR ECEA Harescramble. Collin #110 took 19th place in the 7-9 65cc class out of 26 kids. He was running in 14th place until the last lap when him and a tree didn't get along too well. He wound up crashing hard but returned to finish the race in 19th place and had a great time.

Kevin #173 did well too in the 4-8 50cc class yesterday and took home a 4th place win. He now is tied for 3rd at year end with another compeditor and with only two more races until the end of the season is he determined to bring home that Third place for year end.  He can't wait until he can join the 65cc line with his brother Collin to race as a team.

Collin raced the 65cc class yesterday for the first time and took 18th place out of 22 kids and did 11 laps. It downpoard thru the whole race... sloppy, slippery, nasty coarse and he did great for his first time out with kids who have been racing the whole season in that class and with the track conditions as they were. His twin Kevin did great too with a 3rd place win in the 50OI class doing 10 laps. He too will be moving up before our season ends to the 65cc class to race as a team with Collin this month. They are already asking for 85`s for christmas.

Kevin is holding at 2nd place for year end points finish in the 50 4-8 OI class
Collin is holding at 5th place for year end points finish in the 50cc 4-8 stock class

We have been training hard on our KX65`s getting ready for our up coming 07 season.

For the first time in 2 years... The Kearney Twins will be racing as a team, head to head in the 7-9 65cc class both on Kawasaki KX 65`s in October at the PA State Harescramble series.
