Overview

How I got started

Had help from my older brother getting my first bike and entering me into my first local fair motocross race as a 10yr old. I holeshotted and won on my out-dated Kawasaki KX80...I was hooked forever. Soon after I started racing MX as much as possible, including many AMA D23 events, local circuits and fair races. My bigger MX races include a Regional AMA Arenacross and the Donnie Schmidt Memorial race before the Millville Pro National. I`m also a huge Pro MX fan of which I`ve attended every Minneapolis, MN AMA Supercross's and many Pro Nationals at Millville, MN. In the last few years I've gotten to be involved with pro snocross as a professional mechanic and now a pro ATV racer at a factory level. All of this has allowed me to develop as a rider and person both on and off the track. I continue to admire and appreciate all aspects of offroad motosports. This is the racer I am today.

Goals for the Future

---- Plan to stay uninjured, in shape and race both MX and ATV as often as possible.
---- Meet new people related to this sport for possible future career goals.
---- Race as many different tracks as I can gaining experience and exposure.

Bio

Some Personal Information About Me:

Born and raised in west central MN. Grew up riding BMX bikes, motorcycles, ATV's and snowmobiles. I have many friends and get along with about anyone. Spend time with friends at the track, in the shop, snowmobiling, softball games, ice fishing, etc. Finished college and now currently employed in the industry. Race MX as often as possible locally and race ATV professionally around the US. My family and friends always come to my races offering their support.

Describe your style...

Riding style is pretty straight forward. Ride solid and smooth. No fancy tricks once the gate drops. Always wear stylish gear which keeps me looking my best. Off the track style includes wearing and displaying sponsors names/items as much as possible while keeping a clean and in-style appearance.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Started serious training for MX to get to the pro level. Started with basic circuit style weight lifting and cardio, then modified it over time to be more motosport specific to cover both MX and ATV. In the Gym four times a week minimum over the winter months and three in the summer with at least 3 riding practices per week.

Employment / Experience Summary

Have worked within the industry since college doing everything from mechanic, parts, sales, racer.  Currently working with a Factory pro-snocross racing team, traveling around the USA and Canada (WPSA Snocross Tour - includes the Winter-X games). Also a factory ATV racer at a professional level (WPSA ATV Tour).
