This weekend was the Gorman Big 6, Round 6 out of 7. Saturday started off great. I rode unclassified to figure out the course and ended up 2nd to Kendal Norman. The course was fun, fast and going to be real dusty. I knew I needed good starts in the rest of my races. My next race was the Fourstroke expert race. I believe there was about 25 riders lined up. People like Kendall Norman, Tim Wiegand, Ryan Dudedek and more. I got out to around a 3rd or 4th place start. By the time we left the motocross and headed off road I was 3rd. I made one more pass and I was in 2nd. By this time Kendall, who got the holeshot, had already checked out. I felt like I was riding good until out of no where Gordan Ward came up and railed past me. I tried to pick it back up and reel him in but it was too late. I finished 3rd overall. The next race was sunday afternoon. Not quite as many people but still some big names. I got a horrible start, dead last to be excact. I charged through the motocross course making multiple passes through some corners. I knew it was going to be real dusty and I didnt want to be stuck in the dust. By the time I got to the offroad section I made my way into 2nd, only to find out that Kendall Norman had checked out again. I pushed the entire time but couldn't make up any time on Kendall. I finished 2nd overall. Overall the weekend was a good one and I am still walking. That is always good in my book!!
