My name is Kevin Curtis. I've been riding dirt bikes since the age of nine. My first dirt bike was a
Yamaha YZ 80. I did my riding in Lake Elsinore, Ca. I eventually moved up to bigger bikes and started riding a Yamaha YZ 125. I started riding at Cycle Haven in Long Beach, Ca . I participated in many events during the 80s.
I moved to scaled Mazda Series cars and started racing in West Covina, Ca . I made the local "50second" club and took 2nd place in the local overal time trial championship.
During 2006 I had open heart surgery, which lept me from racing for approx 6 months. In 2008 I began to get involved with Kart racing. I have a deep passion for this sport, and put my mind, heart, and soul into it. In 2009, I began competitively racing Electric Kart (TAG). During the summer 2009, I will participate in the outside events at Autoclub Raceway (formerly Fontana Raceway).
I find myself as a racer with a wide variety of vehicles to race. I have posted many pictures in my racing gear. I believe this exposure can increase sponsor sales and revenue. I am not expecting something for nothing , however, I work hard and race harder.
I represent products from my sponsors well. I conduct myself well where ever I go, so people know that I have taken on the characteristics of that sponsor, and that sponsor with me. I understand the responsibility that this position holds and will not waist a sponsors time, becomming an liability or embarrassment. I put my my heart, mind, soul, into representation. It is a responsibility not only for sponsorship, but for life.
