I compete because I love bull riding. I love what it's about and what it brings to the athlete's that compete in it. God inspires me to compete. With my faith in him, my inspiration is showing the world that with God and heart, anything is possible, no matter who you are.
I couldn't ask for more out of my life. I am truly happy with my life. I've wanted to ride bulls since I was a child, now I'm doing it and everything else in life just seems to be falling in place. I've got some new sponsors, including DAMZL that are supporting me for the 2009 season and I would like to thank them. Check out all the DAMZL gear on www.damzl.com
I compete mainly because not only do I love bull riding, but I want to prove that women are just as strong as the men and can compete in the same shows. I also want to give the younger generation of girls and all bull riders someone they can look up to in a tough sport.
When I'm not competing, I'm at my practice pen at least three times a month, sometimes more. When I go to the practice pen, I usually try to get on two or three bulls. When I'm not at the pen, I work out a little bit. I work out for more upper body strength and I work on my balance riding my barrel horse bareback on the barrel pattern.
I love music. Music is my life. I'm very eclectic when it comes to my taste. I like a little bit of everything. I do everything with music. LOUD music is best preferably. I ride better the louder the music and the crowd.
