Round 8 went great for me, 1st and 1st and my 16 year old daughter, 3rd and a 2nd, who races in the same class. The course was rough and tough because of the rainy or monsoon season we are currently in the middle of created ruts all over the course. The weather was however sunny on race day and the course for the most part was dry.
By the half way point in each of the two heats I had moved into first and after pulling a little distance on Karl Fukuda -Ltr450, and My daughter Keara Bucek racing aboard the RPM Yamaha Guam Yfz450 I settled into a pace so as to save my body and machine and took it to the checkers. It was a physically exhausting event for sure having had butt cheek cramps that night just kickin back watching tv. I'll have to hydrate better I believe for the next round on November 22nd.
Special thanks to my sponsers and supporters. Cycles Plus Guam, Shell Advance Lubricants, Shell V-Power, and Pacific Torque.
I also would like to thank McDonalds Guam, Shell Guam. and the GIRMAC for hosting and supporting the series.
