Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
Well my dad has been racing since the 80s so i was born around it. I tried racing at a young age but never liked it. I am goin on my third year of racing now and have learned alot. Im at the top of the B class now but dont know if im quite ready for A...
List your competitive highlights:
My first year racing i rode the 125 and open C classes and took second for the season in both. The second year i raced B classes and took third and fifth.
What are you planning for next season?
I plan on doing some races in other organizations to ride with other riders. I also plan on doing alot of races around where i live in either A or B depending on how im doing.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment(S) would have to be...once i got the holeshot in a race where the B class was put with the A class...I have beat people that get talked bad about because they are too fast for a class...
Q&A - Personal
What inspires you to compete?
Just the rush of battling with somebody and the fact that it is very possible to get hurt.
Describe your style...
For racing i am sorta bold cause im still learnin how to throw the bike around cause im so little.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
For training i have a gym class at school and a lifting class. Then i go to work which requires lifting tires and the semi tires give me a work out:). Then i run EVERY night. Also the practicing on the track helps with endurance and just seat time.
Why do you compete?
Why don't I? haha i mean riding with buddies is fun an all but nothing is better then pullin up to the line with 20 or more guys that all want the same thing. HOLESHOT AND WIN!
Employment / Experience Summary
Well i work at a tire shop but since im still young i cant actually do the tires cause of insurance so i do bitch work which isnt bad since i get out of school at 3 and work till 530. I also just started a second job for a lil extra cash for racing since its so expensive...Its at dairy queen haha but hey if i dont have two jobs i wouldnt be able to afford racing.
