"Ben Smith is the young nephew to Chris and Drew. So what does a young man do when his uncle has ridden 20 six days? He rides, thats what. Ben finished the entire event and that was quite an accomplishment. Ben had taken a fall douring Saturdays Extreme test and hurt his thumb. It was black and blue by the end of the day, but he pushed on and on, at the end of the event his rear tire was completely skinned bald, no knobs left. His hand had been too hurt to change a tire at the conclusion of day one but he hung in there and rode to the finish. Ben is my new hero."
