A little about myself:

As you may know, my name is Brandon Ross, and I am 17 years old. I will be 18 in December of 2008. I am 5'11" tall, and weigh 145. I currently live in Arlington, Washington, which is about an hour north of Seattle. I have lived here since I was about 3 years old.  Some of the things I enjoy doing other than motocross, is playing guitar, and hanging out with friends. I am a senior in Arlington High School, and maintain a 3.0+ grade point average every year.

I have been riding since 2005, when I started on an Honda xr100, then moved to a Honda xr200 a year later. After that, I moved up to a Yamaha yz250f, and was very pleased with that. At first, I only rode trails with my dad and sometimes other family members or friends. Then in 2007, I made the choice to switch to motocross. So i started riding at a local track called Hannegan Speedway in Bellingham, WA. In my first race, which was also my 3rd time riding on a track, I got 14th place out 40 riders. I was very happy with my finish. The year went on and I kept getting better, and by the end of the year, I had won a race.

Now this year (2008) I moved up to the JR class, but was unable to race the majority of the season due to financial issues. When I did race, i was getting mid pack finishes, which I was suspecting. Towards the end of the season, I decided I would start training, which right away I noticed a big difference in endurance, and overall performance. Then after the season ended at Hannegan, I went out and got a new 08' Yamaha yz250f. It was a big upgrade from my 04' yz250f. I am still training, working out, and riding every chance I get, while still going to school, and working.
