Taking advantage of a rainy day, it seems like a good time to update the season’s events. It was an awesome season in Michigan for riding and racing. Our first year trying to race D14 proved tougher and more expensive than anticipated. Some attempts to race ended in major breakdowns during practice. Even though Robby was working his way up in the ranks as a 65cc rider, we decided to move him up to a KX 85 after trying a friend’s 85. This appears to be a good move. Robby is rapidly gaining skills and appears more comfortable with his KX85, espically after modifying the suspension to match his weight and riding style. Robby has mastered basic skills such as clutch control and body position in hole shots and turns. Robby is clearing more jumps but we are focusing on technique and speed over air. Robby hopes to make his first AMA race on his KX85 at the Monster Mash race at Baja Acres. Many thanks to: -N Focus Photography -FMF -Boyesen -Excel -Dunlop -Panolin
