When and how did DW start?

DW started mainly when me and 3 current members were skating at an indoor park in our city. We had a friend who skated and had a little team called DW which stood for Destroying Winona. Well we kinda joined his team and soon it was left for us to handle. So from the 4 memebers of DW, we started to grow bigger. It took one year for us to start getting more members. As of today we stand at 10 plus skaters. We started to make tshirts with the DW logo and we have sold many so far. We are also working on our first full lenght movie called THE RISE OF DW

Ok, speaking of your team, what are the names of all the skaters?

Myself Kyle Burt, Tanner Brethorst, Dalton Brethorst, Kenny Brown, Tyler Creely, Rick Hatfield, Drake Pozanc, Luke Reed, Alex Williard, Steve Paluza, and some groupies if you call them haha

So I heard that you guys have traveled?

Yes we have traveled to different parts of the midwest. We have been to the cities to 3rd Lair, Superior WI, Jellystone, Encounter in Duluth, LaCrosse WI, Rochester MN, and other spots all around our area haha. This summer the list will grow

So you all have your own style of skating as is clothing and such?

Yes we all do haha. Me, Alex and Steve are your typical O.G.'s or so we think. The rest of the team are your metal rockers. Dalton, Luke, Drake, and Kenny all sport the long hair. Tanner spots the beanie haha. I am your colorful skater, my clothing is never one color. You never catch Dalton without his bandana wrapped around his cranium. But hey we all have one thing in common, we love to skate and that brings us together.

Ok one last question. What are your future plans for DW?

Well we are hoping to get our video out by spring time. And this summer is our yearly DW roadtrip where we are hoping to spread out to Kettering, Ohio to the skate plaza and from there on we just drive thru cities and find spots! Thats the way to live as a skater.
