When did you first start riding?
I started riding when I was 20. I had competed in Kart Racing and Traditional Ball Sports my whole life. It was not until I had enough money on my own that I took on Off Road Racing.
Starting So late how have you progressed so fast?
I traded Seth Enslow my shifter cart for one of his CR250's. My first time ever riding a dirt bike was at El Mirage. I had it pinned wide open within 20 minutes of riding. My second time riding was at Glamis. It was 2am and I strapped a flashlight to my fender and took off with my quad buddies. I was able to ghost ride, ride and fall my way through the biggest dunes. I made it back in one piece and kept up pretty good. My friends were impressed!
When did you start racing?
My first race was the Elsinore Grand Prix on my KX500 with no stabalizer. After no sleep for 2 days and 3 energy drinks to stay awake the morning of the race, I got arm pump so bad I had to stop for about 10min before I could even ride again. Soon after I baught a brand new 2006 CRF 450R that I have been Racing since.
Are you going to stick with racing Grand Prix's
Yes, I feel like this is my niche. With sponsor support I would like to race the WORKS series and the District BIG6. In one complete season of the Big 6, I'm already consistently in the top 5 in all my races and moving up into the Premiere classes this year. Despite my late start into this sport, I know I can continue to improve for many years to come.
What are your goals and what can you bring to the sport.
I want to Be the Vet Champion in Grand Prix's. My day job is advertising sales for Primedia's motorcycle magazines. I market company’s everyday through that medium and I can combine those skills with my riding and really sell my sponsors.
