Overview

How I got started

I started riding dirt bikes as a kid and when I was 18 I bought my first street bike. The racing bug hit me in late 2002 when I did a track day on my Buell XB9R. I bought my first race bike, a 1991 Honda CBR 600 in Febuary 2003. I raced Novice class for two races and was graduated to Amatuer in July `03. Shortly thereafter in August, I was sent to Expert and have been racing my Buell XB9R ever since.

Goals for the Future

My ultimate goal for the 2007 season is to earn a number plate (top 5). I finished 2006 9th overall and I believe I have a good chance of achieving my goals 2007.

I am also planning on doing a couple races aboard a 600cc bike as well. The newest goal for the team is to attend the Moto-ST race in October at Daytona and plan for the full season in 2008.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

I have participated in competitive sports since I was 8 years old. The feeling I get when racing a motorcycle is by far the best feeling ever. I enjoy pushing myself and the bike to the limit. I would also say that racing a Buell for most of my short racing career has also been a great pleasure. The support I get from fans and the factory especially, is amazing. Racing motorcycles is my passion and everything I do in my day to day life involves racing.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Some Personal Information About Me:

My earliest motorcycle experience was on the back of my dad`s Harley Davidson when I was 4 years old. At age 7, I began riding motorcycles myself. I played football throughout High School and went on to play semi-pro football for a season. In 1997, I looked at buying a racebike but was unable to afford it. Finally in 2003 I started racing. For the past 8 years, I have had a career in Sales. I really enjoy racing and the atmosphere that surrounds it. Everybody is family at the track.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I ride a road bicycle as much as possible. It is great training for road racing. I have been doing about 20 miles a day on weekdays and longer runs of 50 miles or more on the weekends. It is very refreshing and something different than being in a gym. Its got 2 wheels and I love it. I am currently on a training program now that will put me in the best shape of my life for 2007.
