Bennie began his racing career at the tender age of 6 as part of the growing sport of pocketbike racing. He was the youngest licensed road racer in the country earning his Expert license through the Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Association (OMRRA) after only 2 races. He was once asked if he remembered learning how to ride, and his response was, “No, I don’t. It’s almost like learning to walk I have been riding for so long.”

New for 2008

Bennie will be spending this season dialing in his skills on his 2 new 125's.  He will make select race appearances along the West Coast.  He is preparing for the USGRPU season for 2009, and the Red Bull Rookie Cup try outs for 2010.

Some Personal Information About Me:

Bennie has been competitively racing pocketbikes since June of 2003. However, he has been riding motorcycles since he was 3 years old. He started out riding a Honda XR 50 with his Dad, slowly learning how the machine operated. Once he was able to ride a pedal bike without training wheels, he picked up on riding his Honda by himself in no time. At the time he began pocketbikes he was the youngest licensed road racers in the country. His license is held through OMRRA (Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Assoc.) He loves riding anything with 2 wheels, and even tries to convince his parents to let him drive the car once in a while. He really has a love for the sport.  He is learning about determination, healthy competition, and self-confidence. He knows that he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to. His hobbies include: Swimming, basketball, bike riding, traveling, and spending time with his family.
