Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
My friends and sponsors got me involved with compititions a couple years ago.
List your competitive highlights:
I was NC state champion for my division at the local INT tournaments and I placed 5th at nationals in 2007. In 2008 year I am 2nd place in the state of North Carolina in Expert division and am going to California to compete in October. I finished 12th overall at Nationals this year in the Expert Division. For 2009 I got on the podium at the Carolina Wake Series at every event I went to, State Champ in INT, and won my first rail contest I have ever entered.
What are you planning for next season?
Learn tricks that no one else is doing, to be different than everyone elses riding. Compete in the 18 and under division on the Pro Wakeboard Tour.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I have plenty,
-progressing as fast as I have
-State Champ in INT
-getting new people into the sport
-Winning my first rail contest

- Favorite Trick: I like anything that I can take really big and stomp it clean, but have some technicality to it.

What inspires you to compete?
To see how I compare to other riders of the same ability and to meet new people and to represent the companies I ride for, but most importantly, have fun!
Why do you like this sport?
It's the only thing that I really enjoy doing. I cant get enough of it! its just too much fun! You can always hang out with friends and family while wakeboarding.
Describe your style...
I like to take my tricks as big as possible and put my own grab on them.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Professional Wakeboarder no doubt
Music?
Reggae, Hip-hop, Classic Rock, anything with a gnarly beat
