hey becki.how are you doing?everything is going alright down here..it's raining like crazy!.everything is calm right about now.my speedwaybike is being rebuilt for next season.hopefully me and my dad will race at b.m.s whenever we can get two together....theres some ice races coming up i might go to.my dad is supposed to be riding a bit..and then finally i get to head to daytona to watch my cousin ride.so it should be fun. |

How did you get started?
When I was 11 years old my parents took me to go watch the flattrack races at my local track,Medina TT.It blew me away! I knew right then I wanted to race..I grew up riding ATV's but I still wanted to race motorcycles. It looked like so much fun..I asked my parents for a dirtbike. When I was 14 I recieved my first dirt bike,it was a 2003 Yamaha YZ85. They bought my first race bike for me, off of E-Bay from Texas. I work very hard to help around the house, to try to pay them back. My parents run a business at our home in Medina NY, so I help stock the shelves and clean up the floors. Any odd jobs that I can find! Thanks mom and dad!! I only had my Yamaha YZ85, for two weeks before I raced it for the first time,at Medina TT.Even though I got lapped and got last place,I still had fun and loved racing!! I knew I would!!!! The rest is history..
What are you planning for next season?
Racing my 2005 Yamaha YZ125 and my 2002 Yamaha YZ250f. I plan on doing as much racing as I can,locally and I would like to try some more national races!!!I would also like to get a 450.....
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Getting better at my racing,writing a column for the flattrack magazine, Flattrack Illustrated, moving up from a YZ85 to a YZ250f and getting good results!
What inspires you to compete?
Watching how other racers grow in the sport, their riding style, other racers supporting me and teaching me how to race!!

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a Pro Flattrack racer. That is my main goal!!!!
Describe your style...
My style is basic:Zone in,go fast,try not to crash and stay smooth!!
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
In the off season I have a training schedule. I ride a stationery bike for 10 miles a day. I strength train to improve my upper, middle and lower muscles. Also in the off season I practice riding on the ice.
Why do you compete?
I love racing flattrack,I don't know what I would do without going to the races,every weekend.I'm trying to show the boys that us girls are fast too!! If we want it bad enough we will succeed,in the sport.I dont like when guys think that just because we are girls, we are slow and cant beat them or even win a race.But we can. I would like to thank all of the guys that have accepted me as a racer and fellow competitor.All of your pointers help me on race day,when I'm having trouble on a corner or I'm not sure when to let off.Thank you all for hepling me get started and making me the flattrack racer I am today!! I hope I can keep improving my racing skills and become faster and smoother every race!! All in all I just love racing Flattrack!!!

What sport would you strive to be good at if you didn't race flattrack???
I've been doing gymnastics in between racing for the past 3 years.So I would say gymnastics.It's so much fun and it helps me stay flexible!!
Was it hard to write a column for Flattrack Illustrated???
It was hard work.During the week,my mom would help me get my columns edited correctly and sent to the Editor on schedule.Its also very hard to create the ideas for the column. It was a great opportunity to get my name out in the sport of Flattrack and to help other racers!!!Thanks to Flattrack Illustrated and Philip Rispoli.....
What motorcycle's do you race??
I sold my Yamaha YZ85 in August 2006 and moved up to a 2002 Yamaha YZ250f.I've won a few races on that bike. I race a 2002 Yamaha Yz250f, 2005 Yamaha Yz125, a xr50 and I raced my friends xr640 at Welland....
