Overview

How I got started

My dad rode bikes all his life, and I saw some of my older friends doing a wheelie on a dirtbike when I was four. I wanted a four wheeler but not after I saw that. My dad bought me a Z50 for my birthday and from then on I have riden dirtbikes. In 2003 I raced my first ever race on my yz 85. I did alright for how nervous I was.

What inspires you to compete?

One time my friend wanted me to come watch him race and see how fast he was and we both were on 85s. When I saw him race I knew I could beat him. He really wasn`t that fast. I asked my dad if I could race to try it out and he let me.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

One of my first times on my new bike I was practicing my starts and I flipped over backwards!!! My dad and my best friend were watching and they just laughed at me.

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because you can always be better. I love trying to beat my personal bests. Also it`s just an itch that can`t go away. All i want to do is ride. When I`m home or even at school I just can`t get riding off my mind.
