Track was great on Saturday for Practice. But, when I woke up Sunday morning...my bike was gone. My 2006 YZ85 was stolen along with my little brothers helmet and some of the other campers had their generators stolen. So, I rode my little brothers bike in the trail class. I am not sure what I am going to do about getting a bike since we spent so much to finish this bike over the past several months. David Blevins 248

Stars of Tomorrow Delta, OH 10-01/10-2
BARS Racing traveled to Delta, Ohio for the final MRA race of the season, Stars of Tomorrow. This race is considered to be one of the top 3 motcocross events of the year not to mention a Suzuki Contingency which brings out some of the best pros in Ohio and Michigan. With 3 motos for this event, the first 2 on Saturday and the final race on Sunday. The team went to the track late Friday night to ensure a good nights sleep. We awoke to a packed house for Saturday mornings practice. First out of the gate was #231 Anthony Sansotta on his DeCal Works Sponsored Suzuki RM250F. With a text book holeshot he entered turn 1 in first and continued running a blistering pace. Second place rider Brock Murphy of Wausen, Ohio tried to keep him in site but spun out on the final lap about 10 seconds back of the BARS rider. Sansotta took the checkered flag waving his fist in victory for the crowd. Sansotta would continue to dominate the 250 4-stroke class for the remainder of the weekend to finish in 1st place for the overall championship. Next up was the 85cc class with 4 of the BARS racers at the gate. #425 Ryan Worchuck, #248 David Blevins, #300 Austin Robertson, and #213 Andrew Stiltner, this class was stacked with talent. Moto 1 started with a great battle up front, #20 Anthony Ridgeway of Toledo, Ohio and Worchuck went at it BAR to BAR and left the rest of class to fight for 3rd. Worchuck made some attempts for the lead but came up short and settled for 2nd position. Blevins won the battle for 3rd followed by Robertson and Stiltner rounding out the top 5. Moto 2 was like a repeat of the first moto but this time Robertson kept the pressure on Blevins all the way to the finish. Day two Blevins had the holeshot and put the heat on Ridgeway from start to finish. This was a battle the television crews from BC Sports Network focused on the whole moto. The 3rd place battle got interesting when Robertson went down while leading the pack and it created a pile up in turn 7. All riders were able to continue but this created a dash for the finish. Worchuck and Robertson went side by side through the rollers with Robertson coming out on top to finish 3rd. Stiltner came up on the short end having trouble getting the bike going. He made it out of the weeds and lost his position to Hunter Espinoza of Holland, Ohio. What a great race. On the youth track were #3 Brendan Swihart and #35 Hunter Blevins. Brendan started the weekend off in the 4 to 6 year old XR50 class. His holeshot looked like a 10 year veteran was riding the bike but took a spill on lap 2. He was able to get the bike restarted on his own and took the 5th position. Moto 2 he kept it on 2 wheels finishing in 4th. Now he was determined and pushed for 5th after turn one. This kid was riding like mad man sliding around turns like a pro he proceeded to pick off the riders and completed his final moto of the weekend in 3rd. Hunter Blevins was our rookie of the weekend but there was no telling him that. Piloting a Yamaha PW80 in the 7 to 11 class. His first gate drop he was a bit hesitant and finished in the back of the pack. Motos 2 and 3 he picked up the pace and put himself on the podium in the 3rd position.

Team BARS Racing goes to Michigan for Friday Night Motocross. September 9 #300 Austin Robertson had the first race of the evening in the 85-125cc junior class. With a strong start #300 Robertson was able to keep his KX85 in the 3rd position all the way the finish for Moto 1. At the drop of the gate for Moto 2 it was like watching a repeat. The #300 Robertson bike was in 3rd until the leader took a fall. This was just what he needed to take 2nd in the race and a 2nd place overall for the night.
Next for Team BARS Racing was the 85cc Intermediate class with #248 David Blevins, #213 Andrew Stiltner, and #425 Ryan Worchuck. #248 Blevins busted out of the gate to take the holeshot. The battle up front would not end until they dropped the checkered flag. #722 Mark Green of Brownstown, Michigan took the lead from Blevins who at the time was battling with his teammate #425 Worchuck. Blevins and Worchuck probably passed one another 4 times on the final lap with #248 Blevins taking the 2nd spot, #425 Worchuck in 3rd, #213 Andrew Stiltner in 5th. Moto 2 Green took the lead followed by #425 Worchuck and #248 Blevins close behind. #213 Stiltner suffered mechanical problems early and did not finish. With #722 Green checked out in first, Blevins overtook Worchuck for the second spot. Worchuck made a mistake late in the race and lost 3rd to #726 JT Foster of Clinton, MI. The overall finishing positions for Team BARS Racing: 2nd-#248 Blevins, 4th-#425 Worchuck.
