THE BEGINNING

How I got started

My dad bought me a 2hp minibike. I would ride it in the fields by my house. Then I came home from school one day and he had a kx60 for me. My first race was at Burleson mx track about a month later and it all started there.

Goals for the Future

I am going to move up from intermediate to pro. Helping my younger brother and other motocross riders achieve their goals by setting the example and sharing my experience and love of the sport with them.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

My love for this sport and the feeling you get when your sitting on the gate looking at 40 other riders that want the same thing--to win. My Dad and my uncle's dedication and always trying to give me all the best tools they can to help me succeed.

Why do you like this sport?

My love for motocross is due to the fact that it is like one giant tight knit family. Everyone seems so eager to help and give pointers. Plus the variety of tracks we go to and the different people we meet.

Competitive Highlights

I think the biggest highlight for me was the year when we went to California for seven months. I raced at Starwest MX and won several motos. I also practiced at Glen Helens and Elsinor, raced Borona Oaks, LACR, and El Cajon MX tracks. It was a great experience for me as a motocross racer.

In 2007 and 2008 I was Series Champion in the Pro Circuit Series in both 125 and 125B. In 2008 I was Series Champion in the Spring Championships. I also qualified for Ponca City 2007-2009.

In July of 2009 I raced my first official pro race and placed 2nd overall.
