Please make a donation to help Asante' compete in the National BlackBelt League World Championships in Buffalo, NY December, 26th - 31st 2009

 I am in need of sponsors to help me to represent the U.S. in an international martial arts competition, the National Black Belt League “World Games” / Sport Karate International “Championships” to be held at the end of the year 2009.

In order to qualify I will have to compete in numerous qualifying events throughout 2009 in order to win a position in available age, weight and rank divisions

The World Games offers competitors, especially the young people of today, the opportunity to experience our country and the world and meet other martial artists, sharing knowledge and striving for peace and friendship through a common denominator, the Martial Arts. We are United States Ambassadors of  good sportsmanship with the goal of learning and experiencing other cultures languages, customs, foods and laws; so that we can expand our own lives experiences and learn that the only true enemy in life is IGNORANCE.

Please Note: To date Several  Countries are responding to this event offering their best martial arta athletes with more making application. Therefore, I am taking my training very seriously.

Unfortunately, athletes in our country, who represent the United States in world class events, must “fund” our own way!  This includes all expenses, incidentals and more - "ouch".  It is ironic, as other foreign countries governments, even “poor” countries, fund, expedite training and more for their athletes. – But not the U.S.  However, I am a proud American, who will hopefully overcome these obstacles, as I am reaching out for sponsors to assist me in my quest for a “World Title”.
