RIDER BIO
I am 25 years old and I have been racing for the past four years and look forward to starting my fifth year and second in the open pro class. Desert racing is a passion and a way of life that cannot be explained. My mato is “never give up”, I live by this mato in life and on the track. I love to push the limits on my 2006 yamaha yfz 450 and love finding new and exciting parts and accessories that can take the punishment I give and receive during the course of a desert race. I came off a championship winning year in the amateur class of the New Mexico Desert Race Series (NMDRC) in 2006 and ran a limited schedule in 2007 due to graduation, moving for my career, and the purchase of a new home. I finished 6th in the NMDRC series racing 4 of 7 races. I also took a first place in the open expert class at snowflake AZ (whiplash series) and finished 4th place in open pro at the American quad and UTV championships (Best In The Desert series) with my teammate Fred Rael (televised on the outdoor channel). We were the only Yamaha in the open pro class and finished very well for our first ever BITD race.
GOALS FOR 2008
In 2008, I will be riding my completely rebuilt yamaha yfz 450 in the Quad Open Pro Class of the Whiplash, NMDRC and select BITD races (including the televised ATV off road championships).
