my 4th Mideast women's championship in a row but not without challenges which included some very strong, young and tremendously talented racers, losing a wheel, frying a clutch and blowing out a spark plug. We had lots of mud, some dust and exciting, challenging tracks to make our year quite memorable. I had my most horrific wreck in the Steele Creek GNCC when I flipped into a ravine but was blessed to escape without major injury. I finished 2nd at Big Buck GNCC and 3rd at The Stomp GNCC in Women Novice. I made some great new friends and memories! Thanks to all my sponsors for helping me get to the checkered flag!

There is no true off season from racing if you are planning on being in serious contention for the upcoming year. You have to stay in shape, get as much seat time as possible and make sure your bike is ready. The time always passes very quickly and then it is back into intense racing. And it helps to keep in touch with everyone and up on your reading about the sport and all the changes going on.
