Overview

How I got started

I began racing at age 5. My Dad and Mom got me a KTM Pro Jr for my 5th birthday. I rode it for the first time the same afternoon. I had my first race in January of 2000 and I think I finished 5th or 6th. After 2 months of racing on the Pro Jr, my Dad and Mom bought me a new Pro Sr and I started to win.

Goals for the Future

Top 3 at Lake Whitney
Top 3 at the World Mini
Top 3 at Ponca City
Top 3 at Loretta Lynn`s

We have a new coach and personal trainer. 2008 should be a great season and I am really looking forward to making a huge impact in the Amateur MX Ranks.

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

I love to ride and I think riding makes me a better kid. No matter how much coaching I get it is still just me and my motorcycle. I like pushing my limits and getting faster. I love spending time with my Dad and this sport makes us really close friends

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am a great student, always on the honor roll. I am competitive in school just like at the races and I like being at the top of my class. I like spending time with my family and my dogs `Goldie and Lucky`. I really like traveling and staying in hotels when we go to far away races. And I really, really like winning.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I train between 3 and 4 days a week. I would ride every day but my Dad says I need time to rest too.  If I have a race we only practice 3 days and 1 day for bike prep. I also do a lot of swimming and I ride the eliptical machine for only 20 minutes a day on my days off riding.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A professional motocross racer. When I am done racing I want to be an anathesiologist.

How's Life Treating You?

I have to say my life is pretty darn good. I live in a great house with great parents that totally support me. I have it a lot better than a lot of kids my age so I am always thankful of what I have, but everyday is a pretty good day for Andrew Campagna....unless I crash.
