The King of Kings!

On May 16, 2009 I was successful in getting my first ever USAC Ford Focus California Dirt Series event win at the Kings Speedway(Hanford, CA) 2nd Annual California Clash! I lead all twenty laps on the fifth mile bullring. After qualifiying sixth and finishing the 2nd heat race in fourth, I thought that it wasn't going to be my night. Well with my pill draw, I was placed on the pole for the race and the rest was History!

2008 Final Point Standings

PRA California State Jr. Ford Focus Midget Dirt Series- 2nd place and Rookie of the Year

USAC Ventura Raceway Jr. Ford Focus Midget Series- 4th place

Season Notes- 8 top fives, 2 poles, finished every race on lead lap

In 2005 the road to NASCAR began for me. I started racing at Pomona Valley Quarter Midget Club in Pomona, CA and in my first race I capured my first win; that was at the end of the 2005 season and when 2006 rolled around in my second race I captured another win. The season would go on and I ended up capturing three main event wins and an eighth place finish in the Sr. Honda series. The track was unfortunately ripped down in the beginning of 2007 so we went and raced at Orange show Quarter Midget Club. At the end of the season, I had a track record, one win, top three finishes in every race, and a second place championship trophy in Sr. Honda. There were some mistakes made by the judges in two races and this ultimately cost me the championship, I lost it by 10 points. The mistakes were admitted in the end. 2008 proved to be a great rookie season in my Jr. Ford Focus Midget racecar. I raced between Ventura Raceway and Bakersfield Speedway and I finished 4th in Ventura Raceway points, 2nd in state points and rookie of the year in state points out of 30 cars! Now a new challenge begins as I am moving up to the USAC Claifornia State Ford Focus Midget Division for 2009.
