The traditional endurance rally for the Mayor’s of Moletai Cup ‘Aukstaitija 2008’ will take place on the Saturday 27 October.

Date: 2008-09-27 (Saturday)

Route: Moletai-Svencionys-Pabrade-Moletai

Distance: about 200 km

Start, Finish, Lodging: Moletai airfield (www.heli.lt)

Assault course (GR): GR1 (Moletai airfield) and GR2 (Pabrade wood)

Cover: 99% of woods, outskirts, even roads and dirt roads

Participants: Hard, Soft Enduro and ATV owners. Total: three classes.

Patron: Mayor of Moletai Valentinas Stundys.

Essence of rally: All teams have to go by recommended rally route (pointed in navigators), fit in certain time and take pictures of certain rout points (numbers on different objects) in correct sequence. Penalty points for not captured rout points and exceeded time-limit will be calculated. Route includes two assault courses (GR). Each of them should be reached at the particular time-limit. Fixed time at each GR will determine the winners. Finish will be fixed only then the last team member will reach it. Teams in all classes consist of two members.

ATV and Endure cross: Technical regulations are the same as NMSF, except that participants will be divided only into two classes: ATV and Endure. As well participation times will be half shorter (30 min and 60 min)

Forbidden:

Drive under influence of alcohol and without driver’s license

Over speed in villages

Go off-road destroying forest floor, grasslands and private territories.

The place: Grybai village

Track length :OR1-about 60km, OR2- about 10 and enduro cross about 5km.

Stages of competition: 1st day: 1OR- driving with a map, 2OR-driving at night with GPS. Second day - eduro cross.

Ground: 100% forests and outskirts of forests also small roads.

The point is: in the first competition you must find points shown on the map and take picture of it. Th end is then the last person of the team reaches finish. Needed equipment is: motorbike, camera, compass. Gps can be used too.

Team must be formed of two persons.

At night purpose is to find points in the shortest way. the winner is the person who visited all point from 1 to... and found the shortest way. You have to have camera with flash and Gps, moto with lights. Two persons in team. One category for hard and soft enduro.

Enduro cross - the rout is special made and about 3km length. Soft, hard, ATV separeted
