May 31, Hayward Race...

Alex gets another 2nd place start and passes for the lead later in the race. But after a very strong ride, he went to fast into a corner and went over the berm and took 2nd in the 1st moto.

Moto 2 = holeshot for Alex again! Alex was in first thw whole race until the last lap again where the whoops got the best of him. He got up uninjured, but could only manage a 3rd.

So, 2-3 for 3rd overall. 3-way tie for the Points leader between, Alex Effertz, Evan Effertz, and Chas Kadlec.

May 10, IRACE Season Opener...

Alex get's a 2nd place start in 125 B, and goes down early in the first lap. He gets up and is in last place and charges to the front of the pack to finish a 3rd in the first moto. 2nd Moto, Alex grabs a holeshot on his 125cc 2-stroke and never looks back!

Alex went 3-1 for the Overall and tallied a holeshot on the board!

Hey Everyone,

Last weekend was the 6th race in the IRACE series at Hayward.

1st moto, grabbed the holeshot and ran away with the lead.

2nd moto, got the holeshot again and cruised to the finish, beating 2nd place by half a track.

What's Up Everyone?

IRACE held another event in Weyerhaeuser this weekend.

1st moto I got 3rd out of the start and worked up to 2nd.

2nd moto, I got 3rd off the start again and passed into 2nd.



So, 2-2 for this weekend.

Hey guys,

4th race of IRACE, and I keep doing better every race. I'm getting back up to speed, but not as fast as I wish.

Anyways, 1st moto, I got 2nd off the start and held my position for the whole race. 2nd moto, I tied for the holeshot, and held with 1st for a lap, but, I kinda messed up through the whoops and he pulled ahead, so I settled for 2nd, which gave my 2nd overall. I'm still in 1st in over all points, so my championship hopes are becoming more of a reality!!!

I'm going to be riding alot more before the next race and I'm hopign for another top 3 finish!

Hey Everyone,

Yesterday, April 28th, I had my first race of the year. My doctor said that my femur wasn't fully healed yet, so, I couldn't really hit jumps, or charge corners as I normally would. I mostly went out to get some points so I still will have a run for the championship. I managed to place a 5th overall, which isn't that bad considering I had to roll almost every jump.

Next race I should be fully healed and able to race to my fullest potential.

Hey Everyone,

Just a little update. My femur is completely healed now, but I need alot of physical therapy to get my knee to start bending because it's really stiff. Hopefully I'll be able to ride again early this year.

Hey Everyone,

A couple weekends ago I broke my femur in Mercer, Wisconsin at the IRACE season finally race.  Due to a DNF, I got 2nd overall in the points, which isn't that bad.  I'm going to have to go through a lot of phisical theapy, but I hope to get back on the bike and practice before the Loretta's Qualifier in '07.

This weekend I raced at Mercer Wisconsin, and went 1-2 for a 2nd overall. 1st moto, got the holeshot and ran away with it. 2nd moto, we had some piloting problems on my bike since the weather was pretty cold, and we adjusted it, but it still ran a little funky sometimes. On the 2nd moto start, it started to bog when the 30 second board was up and caused a bad start. But, I managed to catch up and get a 2nd for a second overall.
Now, I`m in 2nd place for the IRACE points.

Hey Everyone,
Last weeked there was another IRACE race in Hayward, Wisconsin. We couldn`t have asked for a better day! Perfect dirt, Just a little wind in the air, and about 75 degrees. I practiced that track the previous 2 weekends to get it dialed. And the practice payed off! The first moto I got the holeshot and ran away with it, and sported my new ASV Levers for the pro photographer. 2nd moto, I sorta got a bad raction time and only got a 2nd place start, but passed for the lead in under a lap. So, going 1-1 I ended up with a 1st overall. Now I`m 2 points behind the points leader. Next race is the season finally! I need to get 1st to tie for the overall points lead. I can`t wait!
