On 23rd of september i went to Hamsterly with a chance of the juvenile title i came away with some spanking marzocchi 4x wc forks and 2nd place in the series somethig i was very pleased with. Sure i wanted that title soooo bad but i had left at the work til the last minute and even the win at Hamsterly didnt give me the title. This is my first ever season racing and at the begining i thought a crappy plastic kicker in my back garden was big and at the first race at sheffield the tables there seemed huge to me but now ive been to bridgenorth and done the average sized stepdown at the end, ive been to scotland and raced on the world champs course, ive been to Redhill where the push ups worst than the ride down and the strange bump right at the end that is impossible to ride at a very fast pace and ive been to Hamsterly where on the first straight you seem miss the landing of every jump without even trying. So on a whole ive come from i mountain biker who thought my halfords kickers were good to someone who loves every big jump he can find at race tracks and cant wait to get on that start hill and get the adrenile pumping. So id just like thank the nps4x crew from helping me with this change which is the best thing that has happened to me.

I spose i cant complain that im fourth in England in juvenile but still am really annoyed for not doing better .

My motos wernt the best id ever had which gave me last pick at gate.  I got a good snap out of the gate and was tucked in behind the eventual winner and as the track split into two lines on the second straight i took the outside line planning to over take however my feet slipped off the pedals on the stepdown type thing causing me to case the middle jump of the triple, i was then passed but determined to get the place back i peddled over the next tabletop resulting in my foot slipping again and me being overtaken into the berm after the i couldnt recover and came home in last. - i really need clipless pedals.

The next day went a bit better with me winning 3 of my motos and a second after i crashed in first and got back on and held it out against the winner of the nationals in my catagory the night before.

So going into the final i was really confident every one in the races were says how good my snap out the gate was and my mum brought me a royal race kit -shame i broke the buckel on the shorts when i fell off.  On the gate i had first pick and then began concentrating, ready for the gate to dropm, however the snap every one had commented on wasnt there it was terrible at the first corner i was second and thats how it stayed , i was inches away from being passed on the line but i held on to it.  That race pissed me off more than the nationals as on that day i was the man to beat but i couldnt put it together in the final.
