Q&A - Self Interview

How Has Racing Helped Zack?

Since Zack is the main crew on his car. He does all the work on the car pretty much. Racing has taught Zack tons of stuff. People skills from talking with the announcer and fans. Racing has kept Zack away from the bad stuff that teenager kids do (drink and drugs) but Zack loves racing. Its where he feels the safest and the most calm. It has also taught him math skills like percentages from setting up the car on the scales, angles, and geometry when figuring out how to set the car up as well with shocks, springs, and the weight. “These cars are so technical you almost have to be a rocket scientist to figure these cars out” Zack says. Racing has also taught Zack about being responsible. By maintaining the car. Zack does pretty much all of the work on the car at the shop and at the racetrack. If it gets wrecked that means some long hours working on it making it all pretty for the next race. His car is like his pet except that it weighs 18 times his weight, its is way bigger than him, and at times it has a mind of its own. “The feeling of controlling something that was born to be out of control is incredible it’s a huge responsibility to control, maintain, and handle that wicked beast” Zack says.
