I just got a Commencal 666 LTD.
It is set up pretty sweet with a Lyrik fork. Ready for some enduro DH and Super-D's now.

I rode Telonics trail for the first time in a couple years. Really fun! I had alot more confidence than I used to on it. Very fast! I did have one little mistake, and I smashed my nuts real hard on the upper rock section. That hurt!!!! I have a photo posted also.

I just got back from Brian Head Utah! I raced in the DH, and for the first time I tried some of the Dual Slalom action. Dual Slalom is a blast!!! I pushed pretty hard in practice to get the lines down. The course was short, but a real fight to the finish. I ended up 3rd. I`ll be back next year for the win!!!

The DH practice gave me some trouble with all the rain on Friday. Race day proved to be sunny all day and the track got FAST. I gained my confidence in the morning and kept it pinned on my race run in the afternoon. I got into 1st with a large margin and no one else could challenge.

Good trip! I would like to thank Utopia Optics, Magura, Azonic, and Ladera Cyclery for all their help

The energy at Fontana was on full tilt! I was out at practice on Thursday. After taking a few conservative runs to get warmed up, I stopped to look at a few sections were I might be able to make a couple seconds on the new faces. As we all know to be on the podium at Fontana you need to put yourself between a rock and a hard place, or pedal like heck and pass the guy infront of you at the wall.

Race run- I had a clean start. My plan was to be smooth up top, and pedal till I pucked on the wall. I felt really good drifting the sand up top so I layed off the brakes. I had a blistering run on my hands. By the time I hit the waterfall I way going way too fast, aired the whole thing. I thought I was going to wake up in the ditch. I rode away wilth all the speed ,and the crowd was yelling. They were yelling because I had at least 8 feet of boundry tape stuck in my cassete. I must have clipped it will my pedal in the air. I made it past the lower rock garden before the tape seized my rear wheel and I could not continue.
Done! DNF

That`s racing.

I was so happy to bomb a solid run at the SOUTHRIDGE WINTER#1. I was able to get on the podium for a 2nd place finish! I was even listed on MBACTION.COM

Check out the Top Ten DH Beginners, that`s me at number 3.
I placed 3rd out of 85 beginners!

Well I just got back from the Firestone Walker Chamberlin Ranch Downhill near Santa Barbara. This was one of the the best courses I have been on. The course featured some nice jumps, drops, and huge berms. It was a great time for all that attended.

The DH was a two run format. My first run I had a pedal mishap out of the gate, which gave me a 7th place finish. I knocked over 4 seconds off that for a 3rd in run #2 I had a big class of over 20 people(19-34 year olds).

My 5rd place overall finish allowed me to qualify for the 2006 National Mountain Bike Championships. Qualifying for the National Championships was one of my biggest goals for the 2006 racing season.

I would like to thank Utopia Optics, Ladera Cyclery, Janet Baker and Sponsorhouse for all of their support.
