got my cast off...now I just need to get back on the bike.

wrist over labor day weekend at the race track. out 4-5 weeks.

I'm happy to annouce that I've been accepted to be a part of River Valley Racing Team out of Sumner, WA. I was asked to be on the team this weekend at the Eugene Indoor track. I was also given the honor of racing on the team roster for RLQ on Sunday. I also won 1st place in that race. I'm totally stoked!!

It was hard at first - as an 11 Intermediate. No class to race in. Always running with the big boys (that would be the Expert racers). But I stuck to my guns and went to a Greg Hill Speed Clinic and put what I learned to the test....all in the same weekend. Was I tired? Naw. The four hour clinic was a piece of cake. Same with the race that went with it later that day. The race was total points. A do or die deal. I finished 1/3/1 respectively in the mottos. Thus, making it my first win!! I was amazed at what I was putting into racing with what I was taught just a few hours earlier. It was no easy thing, but is it ever? Sunday rolled around and I rolled out of bed. Racing first, then the clinic. I was stoked. still flying high from that first place win the day before. Determined to go back to back. Mottos were posted and I was placed in a higher age group. 12 Inters. I can do this and I did. 1/2/1 respectively. I did it again!! First place win and against two 12 year olds!!! That adrenaline rush just pushed my into my next four hours of clinic time. I didn't feel it later that day. But boy did I the next, but it was worth every minute.

I'm now sponsored by SixSixOne for the 2009 racing season!! Just giving them a shout out! Thanks for the support!!

I'm a featured rider this month on BMXer!! and that rocks the house. I started racing at a local track in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, but I've recently moved to Vancouver, WA. If you live in the Upper Mid-West you need to check out my "home" track. It's a killer-wicked track that has just about taken a bite out of every racer there. Check out their Web site at www.cwbmx.org for pics and directions. They've put in a bid to host a Nationals in 2009, so put in a few words to ABA to consider this track. I've heard that Wisconsin hasn't hosted a Nationals bid since like the 1980's or something. Check out my video on my profile. That was taken at the Wisconsin track too.

Race hard or don't race at all!!!

I attended my first SuperCamp this weekend. Our local track was able to get Burlin and his crew out to Wisconsin. I got to meet Karl Clark and Deak Brown. Boy did I learn alot!! I got to show them what I learned too. We had races Saturday night, after the first day of camp. I was a little tired, but I wanted to show them what I learned. I'm out of the gate faster and I'm able to clear the first step-up!! They also showed me how to manual through the rhythm section, I'm still working on getting that part down. My improvement showed too!! I qualified for the Main in the 2nd Motto (it's usually the 3rd) and I got Second in the Main!! I was so excited!! I can't wait to go to more camps!!

I'm on my way to Texas. School starts on Monday.

At the end of this month, my family and I will be moving to Vancouver, WA. Watch out West Coast!! Here I come!!

I did it!! I made it!! I'm Intermediate now!! I've had two races as Intermediate. I've qualified for the Main both times and have taken 5th place in both. Slowly but surely, I'm gittin'r'done. I'm so excited!!
