Look out for my appearance in the new wakekite promotional DVD, and in the future article on the Wakekite Superfly 5.5 soon to be posted on www.wakeboardingmag.com .  Wakekite was kind enough to invite to come to Lake Shasta to join them in making their 2009 promotional video (check it out on www.wakekite.com ).  Here I met up and rode with the riders that I have seen in magazines and in videos for Wakekite.  It was a great experience to be staying in a houseboat with the people I look up to.  The weekend was great, and everyone rode awesome.  Wakeboarding Magazine editor Matt Hickman was at Lake Shasta and took a lot of really sweet pictures and videos that should be on the wakeboarding magazine website soon.  I can’t wait to go back to the West coast next year and shoot the 2010 video!

I was recently in the April 2009 edition of Wakeboard Magazine flying high with the WakeKite.  Check it out.

This year I had an awesome experience by competing in Junior Pro Mens at the 2008 WWA Wakeboard Nationals.  I had a lot of fun competing against the guys I look up to and see in magazines.  I rode well, but my run wasn’t enough allow me to progress onto the next round.  The experience was great and I believe that next year I will be better prepared for the competition and stand a better shot at making it to the podium.

I was able to attend the 2008 New Jersey Wakefest, where people from all over New Jersey met and rode together.  While here I did a demo on the Wakekite Superfly 5.5 for the New Jersey riders. I also had the opportunity to winch a rail that was set up on site.  I met a lot of really cool people and had a great time.

My family and I took a rode trip with our boat up to New Hampshire over the summer.  Here I rode on a lake in Keene New Hampshire. While in New Hampshire I did a wakekite demo, and on the way back to Maryland we made a stop at an adventure park where I was able to show the people in the park how to wakeboard behind a winch.

I was fortunate enough to get an invitation to the outlaw/pro only Deep Creek Adventure Games competition. The Wisp ski resort held a rail jam the night before the competition in the parking lot which was a blast! Here I got to shred the rails with a handful of really good riders. The competition itself was tons of fun. It was a two run competition where I got to ride in the morning and in the afternoon. I rode really well in my first run, so I decided to just go out and have fun on my second run.  I threw down a bunch of tricks I usually do not throw in competition and received a fairly high score. Overall I tied for 5^th place!

This year I was also lucky enough to get invited to Surf Expo, where I helped at the Wakekite booth, and met many cool people.
