engine...

Well, got a new job now just need to fix the car...

Well the CF hood is on, the Fujita is installed and I have the rest of the parts sitting in the garage including the RBC intake manifold. :-)

I am also working with BC Racing on a sponsorship for coilovers so I will more than likely use those instead of the Hotchkis and Koni combination.

Well, I received my black steering wheel and carpet a little over a week ago, I still need to install the Fujita CAI, Koni Yellows and Hotchkis Springs.  I just put a JDM (black) dipstick in and got rid of the USDM orange one and it looks 100 times better.  I just ordered the RBC intake manifold and should have that in the next week or so.  All I need to complete that install is either a TSX throttle body or the Karcepts adapter, still trying to figure out which one I want.  I will be taking some more pictures this coming weekend and get them on here so you can all see where the car currently stands.

Well, I am happy to say that I have another sponsor to add to the list.  I have been sponsored by DEI.  You can visit their site at designengineering.com.  These guys are great and I have been sponsored by them in the past as well.  They have some awesome products and are the pioneers of the CryO2 system.

You can see some of the initial photos of the restoration progress here.  I will follow here with some of the updated pictures as the modifications are done.

Well, here it goes,

I was one of the founding members of the Hyundai Instill Team (Midwest Hyundai Team) and drove a 1997 Poppy Red Hyundai Tiburon that was modified and featured on a couple of websites.  The car was sponsored by Zekon.com, Splitfire and got a fair amount of partial sponsorship help from DEI and PPS Performance of Northern Ohio.

I am currently building up a 2002 Desert Silver Metallic Acura RSX Type S.  The car at this point has a VIS Extreme GT carbon fiber hood, Hotchkis springs, Koni Yellows and a custom 2.5” Konig Mozart catback along with hood pins, ground wire kit, custom wrinkle blue valve cover, interior blue l.e.d. conversion and rear altezza lamps.  I acquired it in the Spring of last year and have rebuilt the front end including OEM Type R fenders.  My immediate plans at this point are to keep the car N/A.  I will also be importing the Type R cams, PRC intake manifold (until there is an aftermarket manifold that has proven gains), Type R LSD, BBTB and an aftermarket header.  Then I will start on the appearance mods.

My goal is to start showing and autocrossing my car this season.  I will be running the car in the MVSCCA and WORSCCA to start.  My car, in its current state, will be used for autocrossing and will be entered at entry level/in progress in shows.

I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and have a good reputation as a people person who gets along with everyone.  I have acquired my RSX Type S and am dedicated to tuning it.  I am the one that everyone asks when he or she is having trouble or needs to do a new mod to his or her car.  I am 34 years old with a family of 5 including myself, and we all love cars (which is funny because I am the only guy).
