Well I moved to Coleman Michigan just over one year ago after 41 years of living in south Florida. I bought a 53 year old house that has an addition built on it bringing the sq. ft. to almost 6000. In total there are 28 rooms. The house is divided into two halves, one for me and my riding buddies and one for my wife. In my end of the house there is a pool table, a ping-pong table, and a couple turn tables too.

Outside the house is six acres of beautiful woods with two creeks running through it. There are three ridgelines that run along side of the creeks providing 30 to 40 feet of elevation change. I have never seen the complete cycle of season before, just the endless summer that is Florida. I love the climate change and watching the woods come alive in the spring. It is just as amazing to watch the tree turn colure and drop their leafs.

Everything is so much different here, it is very refreshing.

I arrived in the winter and it’s winter again, for riding that means studded tires and trips to indoor skate parks and Rays MTB Park, or grabbing a snowboard and hitting the slopes.

It has been a life long dream to have an extreme playground of some sort in my back yard, and now I am in fact “living the dream”. The first year was good and I think the second year is going to be five times better. I already have a big head start with lumber stacked up ready to become new stunts, and with one or two more days of Kurt’s help with the Bob-cat the jump park will be epic.

Now my dreams are to build my back yard up until it is worthy of a pro invitational freeride jam / video making event.
