How I got started
I?m from a family of motorcyclists so riding something with wheels was part of my life from the beginning. My grandpa owned a BSA / Norton / Triumph dealership that became my uncle?s Yamaha dealership. My mom drove my sister and I to preschool on a Yamaha 350 at the same time (me in the front, older sis in back) Been riding ever since.
Goals for the Future
I plan to create a traveling exibition to promote freeriding. The show will consist of 4 riders that perform together on a variety of stunts such as tall skinny bridges, elevated teters, a box jump, and some big drops. I will be attempting to perform at special events such as Warp tour, Buzz Bake sale, Drag strips, and maybe even in the closing ceremony to the next Olympic games!
UPDATE 2-18-06
The Show has taken off and the Uncle Jimmi?s Tour De Freeride Show has already performed 6 times this year.
The show has received an exclusive for NBC channel 6 in Miami on the Today Show.
We also made an appearance in 2 different Newspapers (the Miami Harold and the Sun Sentinel)
The 2-Xtreem TV crew was at the Cyclepalooza Show and they will be giving me lots of coverage in the next episode that airs on Sunshine Network.
I have my own website www.UncleJimmi.com and it will be getting completely rebuilt soon.
I am not so good at building websites so I will be getting help to make it much better.
