What's up everyone. I hope all of your sports are going well. Especially those who are involved in sports that you learn new tricks in. I'm stoked. I had a really productive weekend a few days ago. Here's the run down of my skiing:
At my school there was no school on Friday however I did have Friday night skiing at Hoodoo. I decided to rest up and stay home until three, which is when I need to get to my school to go to Hoodoo, instead of skiing a morning at Mt. Bachelor before heading night skiing. I had a lot of fun at hoodoo. I got there and goofed around all night on the little jump they had set up there. I was able to squeeze around mute 540's. Not even considering the 720 because there was no way I could land it with out penciling. I went inside to have dinner and had another hour to ski to rap it up.
The next day, I went to Bachelor to experience "I-park's" new set-up. It's so sick now. Seven jumps all over 25 feet, and three rails. I decided to start spinning the first one. First I mute 360ed, then 540. I then decided to pull it around for a mute 720. I had to through it pretty hard but I landed it first try. I did those the rest of the weekend. I also learned scremens. Those are so sketchy to do. Getting your skis crossed over to alternating sides is no picnic, and getting them unhooked is no fun either.
Sunday was a good day to close the weekend about 8inches of pow. The first jump just clear enough to spin. So I did a few 7's, and hooked up with my friends for lunch. After lunch we shredded the sick powder of Northwest chair. There are so many jibs back there it's unbelievable.
That was a sum up of my weekend. I have a four day weekend this week. Goals ahead: Mute 900 over the sixth jump in I-park. Fingers crossed.
I'll post my accomplishments later. Untill then, have a good rest of January and Feburary!
