How did you get started?
I started drag racing in Spring 1999, when I was 17. The first car I drove was a 1971 Buick Gran Sport, which I raced that throughout the spring and summer of 1999. In the fall, we purchased our first rear-engine dragster, known as the Kidz Car. I earned my NHRA drag race license in May 2000. I traveled that summer with friend and fellow drag racer, Tim Krone, who shared his invaluable experience and knowledge with me. In the fall, we purchased our second rear-engine dragster, a 1998 Stevens, known as Hammertime. In 2001, I began racing in the Osceola Dragway points series, where I raced consistently through 2003, finishing in the Top 5 each of the three years. During the summer of 2003, we purchased our third rear-engine dragster, a 2001 Worthy. I ran a limited schedule for the 2004 and 2005 seasons; racing at Bunker Hill Dragway, Osceola, and US131 Dragway. In 2006, I returned to race a full season at Osceola, where I finished 7th in points, having earned a spot on the Osceola IHRA Thunder finals team. However, as rewarding as making the team was, the highlight of 2006 consisted of two wins, one of which being the IHRA Ironman
Classic.
I’ve raced at several tracks across the Midwest consisting of, Bunker Hill Dragway (Bunker Hill, Indiana), Osceola Dragway (Osceola, Indiana), Route 66 Dragway (Joliet, Illinois), Mid-Michigan Motorplex (Stanton, Michigan), US131 Dragway (Martin, Michigan), Beech Bend Raceway Park (Bowling Green, Kentucky), Milan Dragway (Milan, Michigan), and ET Dragway (Lyons, Indiana).

The first time I ever raced a dragster, I made it to the finals and won! Also, winning the Ironman Classic at Osceola in July 2006.
What are you planning for next season?
For the 2007 season, I hope to only improve on my already proven status of a sportsman bracket racer, as I have purchased a 2007 Powerchassis 235” swing-arm dragster.
