My dad and I went up to Everett, WA to race the Redline Cup weekend. I had a lot of fun because we stayed with our friends, the Van Ogle's and my friends Will and Wyatt stayed there, too. When we weren't trying to stay dry we had a bunch of fun. I learned a lot about riding on a really wet track, although it wasn't the most fun I've ever had! I practiced on Friday before the rain got really heavy and the track was pretty cool. It rained a bunch over night so it was pretty slippery most of Saturday. I made first transfer and then got 2nd in the main after I got a little sideways in the mud. I was pretty upset but there was always racing the next day and I was really ready. My friend Parker crashed really hard in his main and he was going great, so I was thankful that I crossed the finish line without falling.
Sunday, the rain pretty much held off. All of us Napa riders made it to the mains and a lot of us did really well. I made my first transfer by a pretty big margin and the track was much better. They worked super hard to dry it off and kept it pretty dry the night before. In the main I had gate three and got a good gate! I was right at the front but the racer next to be tried to get by and lost control of his bike and went right under me over the first obstacle. Crash! I got up after they got us apart and finished the race. Thanks to everyone that yelled and clapped for me when I got up! It helped a little bit. So I was pretty disappointed at the way this Redline went. I know it's just racing and everything. Anyway, after a while it didn't hurt so much and I had my friends who made me laugh and have fun. My friend Parker got third in his main so it goes to show you that there's always the next race. I'm just gonna practice more and have fun racing. Cool thing is my dad ordered me a new Redman frame! Can't wait to get on it. If anyone is in need of an Intense Podium Jr. XL, we'll have one for you at a good price. Got up at 3:00 am to catch our plane this morning so I'm goin' to bed early. Hope you have fun riding. See you at a track really soon.

I stayed away from the state racing on Friday and Saturday because I caught a really bothersome cold from someone at school. Instead of racing Saturday night I went to sleep really early because we had to leave early for practice on Sunday. It was another great turn out with something like 100 motos! Everyone was there and the weather wasn't too hot. I tried to stay relaxed because it was going to be long day. I was in the second rack of 8 Experts with Lake, Isaak, Kamren, Li'l Ant, Wyatt and another racer I didn't know. The other rack had Frankie and Robbie and they made first transfer. In my rack it was Camron and Ant, then Lake and me! Even though I was still kinda sniffly I made it to the main!
In the Main I had gate one and I was nervous. It was a fast bunch of kids and this was the final to figure out our state ranking. I got an "Elliott" gate and came out 1 pedal off of Kamren. In turn one Ant out pedaled me and dove under me in the first turn. I moved into my line and went after he and Kamren. I knew Lake and Frankie wouldn't be far behind. I managed to keep within a bike length of Ant in the third straight which is all rhythm section. Coming out of three Ant had the speed Lake tried to get inside, out of the turn but I had a pretty good burst left in me and was able to out pedal him to come in third!
It was a great race and we all raced really hard. I ended up with the #3 plate for the year! All us kids are becoming pretty good friends and we'll be at it again next year. Next year I'm gonna work hard to win number 1!

My dad and I have been checking out a bunch of sponsorhouse sites. Some of them are pretty amazing. Music is a pretty big thing in our house. I play drums and my dad has played all his life. My uncles are really well known drummers and I usually like really cool grooves. I really like Queen, too. So we added a player with some music that I really like. My Uncle Dave is on there and so is my Uncle Jerry. Just check out the Peter Gabriel and Chick Corea and Dave Weckl music. We wanted it to be different and fun. Great drumming makes you ride faster! Hope you like it. We'll be adding things and changing it up to keep it fun.
Got two 2nd places on Saturday and Sunday in Roseville. Staying up really late and getting up early can be sorta tough. This week I'm practicing around home with my mom and my dad. Then we'll go to Oak Creek for the weekend. Hope everyone has a nice week. See ya at the track!

Last night for fun, dad brought me and my friend Parker to Elkhorn BMX. I haven't been there in over a year because it's very hard to fight traffic on Friday nights. It was great to be back! They made the starting hill a little bigger and the jumps a bit peakier. It was pretty dusty though. Their water hoses were broken. Parker and I both won our classes for the night and it was sweaty, dirty fun! Today, we're going to check out the new Oak Creek track. It's supposed to be pretty cool. See ya there!

Sunday started out pretty great for me. In my final class moto I won by a pretty good amount. In Open, I got another 2nd by a closer margin. I made it to my semis in both classes. In class I had the fast semi with Vaughn, Tyshawn and the NBL National 3. I got a good gate behind Vaughn and pretty much held 2nd or 3rd. In the last rhythm section to the line Tyshawn came on strong and he caught me at the line for the transfer. That was the worst feeling. In Open I got squeezed and crashed on the first jump. Got up right away and finished the moto. It was a real disappointment for me. Sometimes when you're a kid it can be pretty tough. Still, Kentucky was cool. I saw all my friends from China and I had a blast. The Grands track was the best yet! It was fast and had cool jumps and big, steep paved berms. The NBL racers are just as fast as the ABA racers and they ran a great event.
On the trip home me and my friend Lucas got to sit together on the plane. We talked about all sorts of stuff including all the books we are reading. He won two 6th places and his trophy was huge. It was a really great time and I'm gonna go back next year. Lots of my friends did really well and next year I'm gonna join them and bring home a trophy or two. Anyway, on to the next race. I've got some big ones coming up and I hope to do well. See ya there!
