This weekend we raced at North Bay BMX and I had a great time. I won my transfer and the main for my 21st win! Fairfax Cyclery fixed all the stuff my dad didn't get quite right and my GT felt really great all weekend. Saturday night we went to Roseville and I raced 8 Inter for total points. I got second in all three motos. My dad timed me and said I beat my best time by 2 1/2 seconds. He thought that was great and said once again how cool Super Camp was. I know I feel faster and more in control. Sunday we went to Dixon for the earned double points race. Crazy Ronnie got my dad to enter me in the Open class for the day, as well. The Dixon track is pretty long and pretty loose. You have to stay in the middle of the berms in the corners or you slow down in the loose stuff at the bottom. I had a great day even if it didn't quite turn out the way I'd hoped. I won both transfers in the first moto. I won the Open class by a pretty good distance. In my 7 Inter main I led all the way into the last turn and I went too low in the berm and slowed down just enough that my friend Robbie passed me just before the line. I was really upset about it for a minute but then I cheered on all my friends from Napa that came to race. North Bay really supported Dixon's race and Ronnie and everything he is trying to do. At the very end I got a third trophy for scoring the most points for the day and Ronnie took my picture for the track web site. I had a really good time and I raced really hard. One thing though. I guess they made some changes to the Dixon track since it opened. Everyone said it was longer and faster. What I'd like to see is a rhythm section. I guess they took it out when they made it longer. That is what I'd like to see at that track. I LOVE the rhythm section. Next week is Boomtown, another new track. I can't wait!

I really learned a lot at Supercamp. But, I also worked really, really hard. My gates are much quicker and I feel stronger and more in control. This weekend at North Bay my family and I saw the difference. It was a 2 1/2 second improvement over my track best! Dad said that is huge. I really like racing the clock. It keeps me thinking about me and the track. It was a great day and I got my twentieth win!

Well, I am back from Supercamp in Santa Clara. I knew that it was going to be great but, it was even better than that! There were 120 racers from all over the world! Everyone was there to learn from the racers we all read about in the magazines and watch from the stands. Bubba Harris was the leader of all the coaches and he was a great coach. He helps everyone and he never seems to forget anyone's name! We learned about gate techniques, block passing, rhythm section, sportsmanship, manualling, everything! We played something called "foot down" where you ride really slow and try to knock the other riders enough that they have to put their foot down. We did really cool relays. We raced and raced and raced with some of the fastest kids in the country. My favorites were there, both the kids and the pros, I got to meet Joey Bradford and he was really nice. One of the best instructors was Jimmy Monroe. Everybody loves Jimmy. He is really funny but really helpful. He really knows how to make you want to get better. He kids with you but if you loaf, he lets you know it. Carl Clark was really nice, too. All of the pros were there to help you, no matter what. Everyone was really nice. It was four solid days of BMX with a couple of days over 100 degrees. I got tired, but I never wanted to stop. My friends Evan, Frankie, Jake, Robbie and Ryan were there from North Bay and Rusty Bowl. I made lots of new friends including Vaughn Herrick from Phantom Intense Ontrack! I read about him all the time. After a day of racing we all went back to the pool at the hotel and swam until we were so tired we all had to fall asleep. On Saturday night there was a "belly flop" contest. Boy, there were some great winners with big slaps on the water. I could never do that! We had pizza and we got cool shirts and all our favorite pros signed them. I even got Bubba's dad's autograph! Mr. Harris really cares about all of us and our parents. He remembers every kids name and he cooked millions of hotdogs and burgers, answers tons of questions and makes everyone laugh. My mom and dad loved Supercamp as much as I did! I am going to go to a bunch of them next year. This is the way to learn the proper way to go fast and be smart on the track. Everyone is there to do their best. I told all my friends back home in Napa to go, next year. It really helped me, a lot. I also had the best time of my life, so far. I can't wait to see all my friends and teachers at the Nationals, this year!

This was a week where my family and I did a lot of racing. First we went to Santa Clara on Tues. I raced 9 Inter and there was an 8 Ex in the moto and I got third and the expert points. We hadn't been here much and with Supercamp coming to town it was fun to be at the track, again. Santa Clara is one of the best tracks around. It is smooth and fast and they have a great snack bar. Wed. I went to practice at Napa and had a great time doing gates. I worked really hard and I love it there. James Hardee and everyone really love the sport. Can't wait for the lights to go in. I'll be there all the time! On Friday night we met my dad back in Santa Clara and I raced 8 Inter for total points and won. I met a really nice kid named Tyler and he's going to Supercamp, too. He was really fast on the gate and we raced really hard all the way around the track. We got to the rhythym section and I was able to pass him and put some really good distance on him to win two of the three motos. Saturday I was back at Napa and none of my friends were there to race! With my friends Robbie, Cooper and Jake we have a full class of 7 Inters. No one came so I had to race 8 Ex! There was a really fast boy from somewhere east of here, Gault CA. His name is Antonio and he is really blazing fast! He had me from the gate and I had to play catch up. Our gear was similar and everyone thought it was me winning coming out of turn three! Antonio is really strong and he was able to keep his lead on me through the rhythym and I got second in total points and expert points, again. Sunday I raced at Oak Creek and I got a pretty close third to Jackson and Nicholas. Nicholas and I traded spots a bunch, today. The Elliot's are sooo fast and such good riders! Zach Loftus had to race us so we all got Ex points. I was tired and I felt like I am getting faster. Next week is Supercamp. I can't wait!
