Today was really cool! Napa BMX hosted the Race For Life Series and they did such a great job at the track. It was smooth and fast and I think everyone had a pretty great time. I was very proud because I spent all the rainy days and some of my days off setting up my table at Albertson's and Safeway in my town. People donated a lot of money to help fight leukemia and lymphoma and I was able to contribute $675.00! On top of that, I finally got a full class of 7 Intermediates to race against, including Skylar Knorr who is a blazing 6 Expert and I won! It felt great to come back after crashing so hard a couple of weeks ago and it felt great to help people that are less fortunate than I am. I want to thank my family and both my Grandma's and all the people that gave me money at Albertson's and Safeway. I want to thank Brian Harrell at Fairfax Cyclery for their contribution and all the cool stuff they do for me and my family. And also, James Hardee and his family for working so hard to make this event so great for all of us. The track looked great and felt the fastest ever!!!

I really need to thank Faifax Cyclery for all their help. When my dad and mom needed advice to get me my bike, they came through. When it breaks, they fix it. When we add cool stuff to it, they get it, put it on, clean it up and help us with great prices. Brian Harrell the owner LOVES BMX. His guys Brian and Tony always are there to help and to encourage. Brian gave me a mini sponsorship deal on my new Troy Lee helmet. He didn't have to, he just likes to help me and my folks. They also contributed $50 to the Race For Life! They are the best!

I was really happy to go back to the Rusty Bowl in Ukiah. I crashed really hard in turn one at Oak Creek and was all banged up. I took most of the week off, except I made my dad take me out to do some sprints Wednesday after school.
The Rusty Bowl is a great track and everyone there are like my family. Frankie Pickrell is my best friend and we race hard!!! There was a really fast boy named Skylar that we raced. He's got 22 Intermediate wins! I was able to win the second moto and the main! I got my 9th win. Dot's dad made cool wooden trophies with a picture of the Rusty Bowl Gang. Kristi helped me with my gates and corners. It was a great day.
Rusty Bowl is a great place for kids to race. All the parents are nice and no one is yelling. It's a great track to get confidence on. Everyone helps the kids go faster.
May 5th they're having a state qualifier.
