Boy did I have fun in Texas. I raced Class and Cruiser on Friday, Class again for the USA Cycling Championships on Saturday and then Class, Cruiser and Open on Sunday. I worked really hard and made new friends and saw a lot of our racing friends, too. When I get home, dad and I will post the results and tell you a bit more. It was a super fast crowd at Metroplex BMX. In the meantime, I'd like to thanks Bombshell for sponsoring me again this year. I LOVE their forks and will be using more of their gear, this year.

As you read this my mom and I are driving around trying to find our hotel. I had fun practicing with all my friends at Napa last night. It was pretty windy and cold but I had a blast. My friends Parker and Jordan came yesterday and I think they had a lot of fun. I kinda rubbed elbows too much with those guys so I feel a little bit bad. But they know I was just kinda fooling around. Hope you all have a great week.
I also want to thank SixSixOne for re-sponsoring me for this year. They are a cool company and make some great gear. I'm wearing their Peaks which are awesome shoes. So, stay tuned. Lots of racing to come.

I came back from Phoenix and went right back to school. I got a great report card and that really makes me feel good and shows my mom and dad how much I appreciate being able to race and go to all these places. Wednesday, I went to practice and it was super windy. My friend Parker finally came out to the track. I've been hoping he'd come and race with me since last year. I did lots of laps and tried to help him with feet up at the gate and stuff. Parker's really talented and he learns really fast. He went around the Napa track about a million times and he had a blast.
Saturday he came to race 9 Novice and I raced both Cruiser and Class. I worked really hard and got third in both classes and had so much fun! I am working to get my stamina up and I can feel the difference. A couple of more weeks and I should be really fast, again. What was cool was, that Parker won his class and later that evening went to Oak Creek and won again. He'll make Inter in no time. I also got to hang out and be friends with Noah who just turned Inter and he was really, really cool. He's fun to race and he is very nice and friendly to me and my family. It's making cool friends like that that make this a great sport. I am meeting kids from all over the country and I'm starting to get e-mails from them on this site. It's awesome. I'm gonna work hard this week so that I'm a bit more ready for De Soto! See you at a track soon!

Well there were more motos, today and the wind died down so racing was pretty great till it started to pick up again in the afternoon. I made first transfer to the main in Open and I made the second transfer into class to go to quarters. In quarters I got second and onto semis. Semis I kinda got squeezed out and crossed the line in 5th. Not enough to make the main, today. I was pretty bummed out but I was determined to keep racing all weekend 'cause every day is a new one. In open I got squeezed again but I came back and crossed the line in 4th. Tomorrow, I'm excited to go at it again and make it a better day. Hope you all had fun racing at home. See ya soon.
Sunday was another day of great racing. The wind died down and the weather was kinda warm. I made the main in Open and I was going for third but the rider in front of me blocked me out. My mom and I learned a lesson. The new rules say that once you leave the last turn of a race and are headed toward the finish line, you have to stay in your lane. You can't move over into another riders line. This is pretty cool because it becomes an all out drag race to the finish line. If you have energy left you can make the pass. All our friends saw me get blocked and some even shouted "DQ" because to them it was obvious. But mom didn't have the proof because she was too excited to video the race. I ended up with a fourth which is still okay... but not really. I guess I let my "upsetness" get to me because I didn't do as well as I'd have liked in class and got another 5th. Oh well, I'm learning and getting better all the time and I had a super duper time in Phoenix. On to De Soto!

After a bunch of days practicing and getting some coaching from Mr. Van Ogle, my mom and I are in Phoenix for the nationals. Our friends Nickolas and Jackson are here with their mom & dad which is cool when you are at a big race 'cause there are friends from home. It's super windy and I'm racing open and class all three days. The track is even longer than Napa but it's really cool w/ an awesome pro-section. I'm really excited even though it is so windy, worse than Dixon, for all my friends at home who know how windy that can be! I'll keep you posted through my dad who wishes he and my sister were here, too. Hope you all have fun this weekend.
Well, Tobias had a couple of great 1st motos, winning them both and also qualifying for the main in class by doing well in the semi. In Open he got a pretty good gate but got bumped and came unclipped. He hung on and finished fifth. In class he got a fair gate and got squeezed back to the middle of the pack, finishing fifth in this race as well. His mom said his attitude was really great and he can't wait to race, tomorrow. Go Tobias! Our friends Nickolas and Jackson finished 1st and 3rd in 8 Expert. I'm not sure which of the boys was first. But boy, we were happy for them.
