Happy New Year to everyone that comes to my sight and to all the kids I've raced this year. For me it's been the best year yet! I got to travel all over the country and even to China for the World's! I got to make a lot of new friends from places as far away as South Africa and China! I've learned a lot more about racing and BMX and a lot of things about me. I guess you could say I LOVE BMX more than ever. Just before Winter Break I was really happy that our friend Donny Robinson could come to my school and talk about BMX. Donny was really cool to me and my friend Parker and he brought video of the Olympic Time Trials that had all the kids screaming! There have been pictures up on my site for a while. What pictures can't tell you is how awesome Donny was to all the kids. He really knows how to talk to everyone and keep it really fun. Nobody was bored, even for a second! Actually, I'm surprised Nickelodeon or the Disney Channel isn't sponsoring him, yet. They should. He definitely gets kids excited and off of their couches!
I am looking forward to racing in 2009 in a kinda new way. I plan on having lots of fun. That's why I do this sport. Donny told a story about how he was working really, really hard racing and training and he went a pretty long time without a win. Then he realized he'd forgotten to have fun. He started winning pretty much right away! Just because I plan on having fun doesn't mean I expect to win all the time. It just means I'm going to enjoy all the racing wherever I go. I hope you all do, too.
I want to thank all my sponsors and all my friends and family for helping me this year. 2009 is gonna be pretty cool. Napa is probably going to be rebuilt by Donny's friend Tom Ritz. Mr. Ritz built Beijing and Chula Vista and the new Woodward track in Fresno. North Bay BMX is gonna be really cool. So thank you to everyone. See you at some track nearby or far away.
