This is a 6-week track series to help promote the construction of a velodrome in Fort Collins, Colorado. It has all sorts of categories, including the licensed open track category--that's the category that I raced in. I'm in the white helmet, blue bike and red skinsuit.

I sold my racing bike this past fall, so I could reinvest in used bike parts. I wasn't able to save enough to race with Team USA in Holland, but I was able to build my "dream bike." It took a lot of patience, but I built it for about 1/4 of the retail price for this level bike. My best bud (Buster) helps me build every bike. So, here are some pics of the (almost) finished product, along with some pictures in my extremely messy "bike shop." I also included some pics of Buster helping (although he wouldn't sit still long enough to get a good candid shot).

Indoor Rowing Competition with vaious events. The primay event is the 2000 sprint. Competitors compete in age and weight classes for the 2000 meter sprint. This is a qualifying race for the CRASH B World Indoor Rowing Championships, sponsored by Concept 2.

30 mile road race to the top of Mt. Evans, Colorado (over 14,000 feet)

I got a flat half-way through this race. Thankfully, Rolf Vector-Comp wheels are bomb-proof. I was too bull-headed to stop.
