2nd Race Recap

Unfortunately another ultimately dissapointing race. With some promising speed in practise, things were looking good, but with a dismal qualifying leaving me 8 tenths off pace, we started to wonder exactly what was going wrong. After being taken out in the 2nd corner of the pre-final, I was hoping for some luck with the radical changes we made to the kart. Without luck, the radical changes made me slower, and we soon discovered that I was loosing most of the time, down the straightaways, as many as 3-4 kart lengths down each straightaway, which is about 3 of them. I did my best to hold on through the corners, but in the end it just wasnt enough, and nothing good came out of it. We unfortunately don't have the money for an engine rebuild either. The next goal is to find somewhere between $500 - $600 for an engine rebuild in hopes of a better chance in the next races.
