Race #3 Recap
Hey guys,
So today we headed down to Goodwood Kartways for race #3 of the year for myself. The first practise session was simply to get used to the track again, having not been on it for over a year. After that, we had a dismal qualifying session, starting a lowly 10th position. However, in the prefinal, I managed to work my way up to 7th, making some great passes along the way behind some smart driving. In the final, things were looking up, and I held position on the first corner, however when we got to the 4th corner, I was taken out by someone who locked up their brakes while beside me, hitting me off. With this, I was last, very dissapointing. With that, I started trying to work my way up, with no luck being so far behind. Then the rain started to fall, and with that I took off. I managed to make up some positions, and was even closing on the top 3, however I did not have enough time to close up, and unfortunately just didnt have the kinda race I hoped for. I need to thank all my sponsors, Amsoil, thehelmetman.com, Fluid, and for this race we had RES Precast and Rosseua Road Enterprises for all their help! Next up is the Canadian Nationals!
