How did your team get started?
In the Winter of 2005, Team RPR merged with Riders from other teams to form Kozos.
We have proven that this makes Kozos a more competitive team, and we invite you to visit our website at: www.Kozos.net our riders are among the top in their respective classes in our region.
1. All the members of the team have active community involvement, and maintain positive ambassadorship to the sport of mountain biking.
2. Community service hours will provide for more exposure to persons that are not currently cyclists.
3. Our team has set goals, which are challenging, yet feasible, that will allow and encourage our success, both as a team and individually.
4. The orientation of our team allows us the ability to produce outstanding athletes both in the pro classes, and in our grassroots program.
We are a highly motivated group of individuals looking to further the growth of our sport.
What is your team mission/ motivation?
Kozos Mission Statement:
The Kozos Team is committed to creating a stimulating racing environment for racers at the professional level, as well as developing basic riding skills through the implementation of a grassroots program. We are dedicated not only to introducing young riders to the joy of mountain biking, but also giving back to the community through service and involvement.
Objective:
Kozos is designed to be a Semi-pro and Professional level team. As a team, the goal for 2007 is to have 20 to 25 racers showcase your products through a sponsorship.
Kozos is different from other teams in our development of new riders. While some members of the team benefit through the experience gained in competition and mentoring, others choose to participate in our outreach program.
You will benefit from the marketing that a sponsorship provides, but the sense of community, teamwork, and hard-work ethics outweigh this. The talented riders will continue to improve and the best riders will enjoy professional recognition. One of the greatest rewards will be to watch potential professional riders set personal goals and aspire to be sponsored one day.
