DANIELLE #873

I am a 10 year old, full time student in the 4th grade, residing in Waupaca WI. I've been riding snowmobiles since I was 2 years old. At the ripe old age of 4 I began racing them  in the USSA Pro-Star Series. I was the 4 time consecutive points champ in 120 stock in 2005-2008, as well as the 120 Champ points Champ in 2008. In 2009 I placed 1st in the FreeStyle class and 2nd in points in the Jr 1 380 Oval Sprint Class. In the summer months I keep my competitive edge racing a 90cc Quad in both moto and short track along with playing offensive/defensive line for our local Pop-Warner tackle football team. This past summer I started a new adventure in my life, Go Kart racing. I find it to be both challenging and exciting. I finished the year with pnenomenal success, proudly bringing home the "State Championship" in the rookie box stock division.  I look forward to bigger and better things this year in the box stock division. I've always been taught to strive to be the best, not to be the best "girl". So much is said about me being the only girl, competing with a field of boys because it's different. I don't look at it as, I'm a girl, beating the boys. I look at it as, I'm a competitor and I'm here to win. Our team received "Family of the Year" in 2003 and again in 2007. As Team Behn racing continues to grow and advance with each season, I continue to grow with them. I dedicate myself to be the best I can be and continue to learn with each and every race. I may be a small girl in a big arena but I promise to promote the sport of snowmobile and Kart racing in a positive manner with professionalism and sportsmanship.
