Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

Let's see...my first race was a 10K in San Angelo, TX. I was the Student Platoon Sergeant at the time, and volunteered to run it to lead by example and promote others to do the same. My time was...fairly slow.

List your competitive highlights:

I am very proud of my progress in Triathlon and Running. When you compete, there is nothing quite as sweet as first place: The Amazing Race Triathlon in Belton, TX (AG) and The Pet Friends 5K in Tres Pinos, CA (Overall).

What are you planning for next season?

Let's see...starting off with the Rio Grill Resolution 10k in Carmel, CA. I'm looking at a few TRIs in March/April to compete in. As well as the Big Sur International Marathon in April. I will receive my Army orders in May, and we'll see where Uncle Sam sends me!

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Not quite a competition related accomplishment, however, I am so utterly happy to have found the Love of my life. Ruthie and I have been married for 3.5 years...and I am absolutely sure finding my soulmate is the only accomplishment anyone can truly hope for.

	Hey Jeremy, I forget what exactly your message was but thanks for the add, ya my first half was when I was a senior in High school. I did Timberman, it is definitely a more challenging course but a great venue. I did it three years in a row and skipped out on it this year due to other races on my schedule, but I will be adding some more results soon from this season.
