I am eighteen years old and a senior at Laurel High School. I live in New Castle Pennsylvania (about 40 miles north of Pittsburgh) with my family. Great place to live if you’re a Steelers fan! Some of my other hobbies besides my obvious passion to race motocross are mountain biking, hiking, archery hunting and fishing.
I am currently racing Kawasaki KX250fs and KX450fs in the MX Lites A, MX-A, 4-stroke and college boy classes. Unfortunately this year has not played out how I anticipated, in December I tore my ACL and meniscus and had surgery January 21. I was told at least a six month recovery, but once I started physical therapy I told my physical therapist I want to be back as soon as I can. I went to physical therapy for two hours, three days a week. Approved by my doctor I was able to start riding again in late April. I raced my first race in May at a local track finishing first. I was determined to be ready for Highpoint National, which I did qualify for but soon realized that my strength and endurance wasn’t what it was before my injury. I finished 37
th. I got right back to training harder and focusing on being ready for Red Bud, after hurting my knee again I had to withdraw from Red Bud. Next was Unadilla, Budds Creek and Steel City. I did not qualify for Unadilla, Budds Creek and I was on the alternate list for Steel City not getting in. Putting this years nationals behind and focusing on next year. I am going to race the PAMX state championship series to wrap things up this year.
GOALS
My focus now will be training and getting ready for next year. During school breaks I plan on going to North and South Carolina to train and race during the winter months. I will be racing the AMA arenacross races and have plans to attend a couple of the east coast AMA supercross races with hopes of qualifying. I feel really good about where I am, because I know what I need to do and have a lot of determination and lots of support from my sponsors and family to help me succeed.
After graduating, it’s full steam ahead, so watch for me!
My hopes are to team up with some awesome sponsors who will be with me for years to come, if you feel I have what your company is looking for in a rider please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you to discuss future plans that could benefit us both.
Thank you for taking the time to read my resume and of course if you have any questions please contact me.
