What an opportunity! I got my pic in the local paper, The Medicine Hat News". I just happenned to be riding at my local skate park yesterday (April 30) when a photographer from the local newspaper showed up to take some pics. Appanently he liked what I was doing because I heard some camera clicks  while in the air and there I was the next day  on page 4. That paper has the potencial the reach 50,000 homes. It's nice to have my name coupled with the sport even if only inSouthern Alberta.

Well things have begun full swing. I find myself on a bike for about 3 hours a day. I still love riding and meetingnew people, but have started to challenge myself in more ways. Almost competing with myself. Kinda funny when you think about my last blog. The Fuel clothing stuff I have gotten recently has gotten me some good feedback, and been comfortable to wear.Time will tell but it seems that I only need my smaller bike around here. I seem to be getting alot of positive feedback on my profile, but constructive critisism is always apreciated. Thanks for reading I'll write soon.

Just got back from one of the local shop's group ride. Noyt so sure what I thought of the mood, I mean I'm all for friendly competition but, not when it gets in the way of a good time. Maybe that's where I'm wrong is that what's the sport all about now. At the risk of sounding old I do miss the good ole' days when a group of riders would go out to have fun and learn from each other's style and ability. I mean some of the new riders were not riding things because they were unable to throw tricks off them.  I sure they show up for the next ride and were not too intimidated. well I never claimed to the best rider around, I only claimed that when you ride with me you will have fun. Hopefully that encourages more people to join and continue to participate in this sport.

Well here I am stuck inside again. There was a good period of time when I was able to jump the bike around. So I tok advantage of it. I have been all over my area of late, and though the jumps need work they have been fun. With time to ride I have become more comfortable with my new bikes and at ths point feel I have made good decisions as far as how the bikes feel. With the weather being so nice I was able to put my Fuel clothing to the test. I was very happy with both the T-shirts and gloves. The gloves have great grip and protection (for the few times I've needed them). I have also been fortunate enough to attain some new sponsors. A big shout out to Utopia optics, S.I.C and Attivo for bringing me on. While I'm giving shout outs a huge shout out to my Bro for coming out riding with me and taking me along when he goes. Wel that should do it for now. I am trying to put together a road trip for the openning day at Canada Olympic Park so I'll keep you informed on that. Talk to you soon.

Well looks like there's a big move in my future. Not my favorite thing to do. The thought of riding with my friends makes all the hard work seem alot easier. There has been talk of rides to come. I find myself really looking forward to riding the slopes of Panorama, Fernie and possibly Mount 7,  That should also help lighten the load of the move. I'll keep things posted gope to see a few comments. Particularly if have tips to help me out. Thanks everyone.

I entered my first downhill race and while I didn`t place to great, I did have a great time and learn alot. It was an interesting run. After the third berm I realized that I had somehow lost my front brake. Couple this with the fact that I had borrowed a shock to run the race and you have a challenging bike to ride. Like I said though I had a great time. At the starting line I met many other riders and shared a few "battle staries" and even made new friends. All in all an extremely good experience.
