What inspires you to compete?

Love of the sport. Isn't that why people from any sport does what they do? From the second I stepped foot on the field, I was hooked. There is nothing better than walking on that field, huddling and throwing our hands up and just getting pumped for the next adrenaline-fueled 5 minutes of our lives. The best thing about paintball is the sportsmanship. No matter who wins, at the end of the day, we're all still friends.

Describe your style...

Style of each player depends on their position. Likewise with the format we're playing. The PSP Race format is a 5man format, therefore its very fast and this is where you see a lot of aggressive moves and "Running 'n Gunning". 7man is different in the sense that you slow the game down to accommodate your feel for the game. Its a very strategic format. You're constantly thinking and communicating, which is why I fell in love with it.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

My team last year was practicing for an event, and my snake player yelled "SNAKE 1 IS HOT" (meaning their was a player in the first knuckle of the snake), so me in all my glory went streaking down field like a bat out of hell, ran down the inside of the snake, and bunkered out a... player that wasn't even there. So while I'm in mid-run I'm thinking "What the hell?" and collide into the huge monster that was the carwash bunker. Since their made of rafting-like material filled up with air... I literally bounced off. So I just laid there, looking up, thinking "I wonder how many photographers caught me looking like a dumba**"

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

I love to travel. Best road trip story was when I played for Crim's Militia and we were driving from Maryland to Buffalo, NY in a 15 passenger van. Well we were gunning it through New York and we went under an overpass going 85 in like a 60 mph zone. Well unfortunately there was a NY state cop hiding alongside the overpass. We were like "Josh, dude. 5-0 totally just laser'd us.." So he was like "Oh sh*t, ah who cares, I'll just pull over" So here we are, pulled over with a filled up van and this cop walks up and the first thing he said was "Sir do you know why you were stopped?" and Josh said "Yes sir, its because I was speeding like an a**hole". The cop responded saying, "That's correct sir, but because you pulled over and didn't make me chase you, I'm going to give you a 85 mph parking ticket" Ever since, I've liked Cops.
